Our goal is to discover the freedom to grieve fully and completely for all persons and things that we have lost as we will learn how to get over disappointments we face. We will come to understand and to experience loss as a natural part of our life cycle. As we move ahead, unafraid to look back, we learn to gently smile at what we perceived as a loss, but now realize was an opportunity for personal growth and increased compassion for ourselves and others. Clinical research and data supporting the therapeutic value of overcoming loss help the participant reach this goal. Overcoming Loss: A Continuum, A Choice, An Obstacle Course Overcoming Loss: A Path to Health The steps and milestones involved in overcoming loss is explored during the overcoming loss journey. At the conclusion of this journey, each participant should have a clear understanding that overcoming loss is vital to individual health and world health. Specific guidelines provided throughout enable the participant to integrate new overcoming loss behaviors in order to achieve optimal health and wellness. |
